The JCPS District Spelling Bee 
on Saturday March 23, was a very competitive event where students who won at the school level competed.

Benjamin Friedman from PS #5 took first place in the 3-5 grade level, and Kavya Jakasania from MS #4 took first place in the middle school category.

Kavya from MS#4 also won the Hudson County spelling bee and is off to the Scripps National Spelling Bee this spring.
